Armchairs
Close to thirty armchairs, and the useful way through them is by back height and width — the two numbers that decide whether a chair is for reading, for a desk, or for falling asleep in.
By back height
At 108 cm, Matrix and Saturn are the tallest backs we make: a true wingback closes around your head and shoulders, which is what makes a chair something you sleep in rather than sit in. Denise adds a proper head cushion, and Jupiter is the one in the range that closes around you completely. In the middle, 100 cm — Gloria, Nerissa, Lichfield, Pure — supports your shoulders without surrounding you. Low backs change the job again: Zoe at 74 cm and Berkley at 70 cm are lounge seats, and Berkley's 100 cm seat is the deepest here.
By width
Apollo at 95 cm is our widest — a chair and a half. Zoe is 94 cm, Norwich 92 × 95 cm, Nerissa and World 90 cm. At the other end, Ashley at 78 cm and Neptune at 78 × 82 cm fit a room a club chair will not, and Platt is the most compact of all. Measure the gap first; it is the number people regret.
Chairs that do something specific
Jane and Hola are 80 cm cubes on full swivel bases, so they turn to face whatever the room is doing. Mars and Lichfield are on castors and move with one hand. Chimba has a leather pocket stitched to its side for the book you are reading. Point comes with its own lumbar cushion, which gives you two postures in one chair. Jackson shows its beech frame, with hand-buckled leather straps holding the cushion in place.
Materials
Kiln-dried beech frames; high-resilience foam. Any of seventy-six leather shades across twelve families — genuine leather only — or fabric, with your own fabric (COM) accepted. Hand tufting, hand-set nailhead trim and carved cabriole legs are available on the traditional models; the modern ones — Mercury, Pure, Mia — are drawn with channel stitching or with nothing applied at all.
How ordering works
Tell us the space the chair has to fit and what it is for — reading, a desk, a hotel lobby, a corner by a window — and we will say which one is the honest answer, including when a narrower chair is better than the one you first liked. Made in our Istanbul workshop.
