Sirius is the tall walnut cabinet on a black metal base. 114 × 51 × 178 cm — the narrowest of the three, and the only one where the base is a deliberate dark line under the timber rather than a quiet support.
A black base under walnut
The base is finished in black rather than brass or bronze, and that single choice changes the whole piece. Brass and bronze are warm, so they blend into walnut; black separates, which makes the cabinet appear to float and sharpens the outline of the body above it. It is the version to choose in a room with black window frames, black joinery or a dark floor — and the one to avoid if you want the cabinet to disappear into a warm scheme. For that, Vinicole or Charyton.
114 cm: the narrowest
At 114 cm wide and 51 cm deep, Sirius fits where a sideboard cannot — beside a chimney breast, in a short wall between two openings, at the end of a hall. Tall and narrow is also the proportion that most needs to be fixed to the wall: we supply the fixing, and on a cabinet this shape it should be used.
Walnut T-Brown, and doors with real relief
T-Brown is a warm mid-brown walnut — dark enough to carry the black base without the piece going cold. The geometric fronts are shaped rather than printed or applied, so each door has actual depth and casts its own shadow; over a 178 cm door the pattern has to stay true for the full height, and the timber has to be properly dried first, because a tall door is the one most likely to move. The same door construction appears on the Lavor sideboard.
Materials and sizes
114 × 51 × 178 cm; solid wood body with walnut T-Brown veneer on a black metal base. Made to order, so dimensions and the internal division are set during the order. Finish specified per project. Handcrafted in our Istanbul workshop.
Where it belongs
A modern residence, a boutique hotel, a high-end restaurant, an exclusive office. It wants ceiling height and a wall where its narrow vertical line is the point.
