SKY CORNER SECTIONAL SOFA

Sky is a large L-shaped sectional on black metal legs, with wide cushions and a light golden-beige upholstery in the version shown. The dark legs under a pale body are the detail that makes the scale work.

Black legs under light upholstery

A big sofa in a pale fabric can read as a single heavy mass sitting on the floor. Black legs cut it loose: the dark line separates the body from the floor, so the sofa appears to float and the eye reads an object rather than a block. It is the same trick as a dark base under a pale cabinet, and it is why the leg finish matters more on a large sofa than on a small one. In a warm scheme with timber floors and oak furniture, wooden legs such as Charlie's blend instead of separating — a different and equally valid choice.

Scale, honestly

This is one of our largest sectionals, and a sofa this size does not simply go into a big room — it sets the room. Leave at least 80 to 90 cm of walkway in front of it, check that the longest module will turn the corner of your corridor and clear your doorway, and tape the footprint on the floor before ordering. If the room cannot carry it, two smaller pieces usually give more usable seating than one large L squeezed in, and we will say so.

Wide cushions

Wide seat cushions mean fewer cushion joins across a long run, which looks calmer and gives you somewhere to sit that is not a seam. The trade-off is that a wide cushion is heavier to lift and turn — and turning cushions is what keeps them even, so it is worth knowing before rather than after.

Left-hand or right-hand — settle this first

The corner is handed and cannot be changed once made. Stand where you enter the room, face the sofa, and tell us whether the long side runs away to your left or your right; send a plan with the door, the window and the television marked.

Materials and sizes

Made to order; overall dimensions depend on the configuration and are confirmed with your quotation. Fabric or leather — any of seventy-six leather shades across twelve families — and your own fabric (COM) is accepted. Metal finish specified per project. Handcrafted in our Istanbul workshop.
