Topaz is the largest dining table we make: 263 cm long, on a double pedestal base crossed with bronze-tone metal rods. The top is wood with a smooth finish; the rods are the architecture underneath it.
263 cm
Twenty-three centimetres longer than our standard 240, which sounds marginal and is not: it is the difference between seating eight and seating ten without anyone's elbows touching. Allow 60 to 65 cm of table edge per person. It also means the room has to carry it — at least 4.3 metres of clear length so chairs can be pulled out at both ends.
The bronze rods
Metal rods run across the pedestal base in a bronze tone against the wood. They are structural and decorative at once: they brace the two pedestals against each other, which is what lets them be slim, and they draw a line of warm metal under a large plain top. Spacing is everything — set unevenly across that span, they read as a mistake rather than a rhythm.
Pedestals, not legs
No legs at the corners, so the perimeter is free: chairs go anywhere along both sides and at both ends, and nobody sits straddling a leg. On a table this long, that is what makes ten places actually usable rather than theoretical.
Materials and sizes
263 × 108 × 74 cm as drawn; made to order, so the length can be reduced for a smaller room or extended for a longer one. Wood species, finish and metal tone are specified per project. Tell us the room dimensions and the number of places needed.
Where it belongs
A large dining room, a restaurant, a boardroom, a hotel private dining room. It needs length more than anything else — in a short room the table is the first thing that will not fit.
