The Ordinate side tables nest. Slim circular tops on clean vertical supports, made at different heights so they slide under and beside each other — and drawn to work with the Ordinate coffee table or on their own.
Nesting, and why it is useful
Nested tables take the floor space of one table and give the surface of two or three. Pushed together they are a single object beside a chair; pulled apart, there is a table at every seat when people arrive, and they go back when they leave. In a small living room or a hotel room that is the difference between having enough surfaces and having furniture in the way.
Round tops, vertical supports
The tops are circular and thin, and the supports are straight and plain. Both decisions are about getting out of the way: a round top has no corner to catch a shin as someone passes, and a vertical support takes up no more floor than its own section, which is what lets the tables slide into each other at all.
Part of a family
They share their language with the Ordinate coffee table and the Ordinate sofa, so a room can be furnished from one line without matching everything exactly. Used alone they read as a quiet modern side table rather than as an orphaned part of a set.
Materials and sizes
Made to order: sizes are customised, and materials and colours are specified per project. Tell us the arm height of the seating they will stand beside — on nesting tables the heights matter more than the diameters.
Where it belongs
A living room, a hotel room, a lounge, an apartment. Anywhere surfaces are needed sometimes and not always.
