In context
Nakita pairs rolled arms with a low back — 70 cm, among the lowest in our sofa range — and fills the cushions with a high-resilience foam core wrapped in a feather blend. It is the softest seat we make, and the low line is what keeps it from looking heavy. Shown in tan leather.
Feather over foam
The foam core holds the shape; the feather layer over it is what gives the first few centimetres of give. The trade-off is honest: a feather-blend cushion needs plumping, perhaps once a week in daily use, or it settles unevenly. In return it softens in a way no foam-only cushion does, and it keeps the rolled arms looking relaxed rather than upholstered tight.
The low back
At 70 cm the back sits below the sightline across a room, so Nakita can stand free in the middle of a floor or under a window without blocking anything. The seat is 100 cm deep to compensate — the support comes from depth rather than height.
Construction and finish
Solid hardwood frame, hand-assembled. Upholstered to order in any of seventy-six leather shades across twelve families, or in fabric; stitching and cushion configuration specified at the time of order, including a firmer foam-only cushion if the feather blend is not wanted.
Sizes
Three standard widths, listed above. The two-seater is 220 cm — only 20 cm narrower than the three — so it is a generous pair rather than a compact sofa. All sizes adjustable per project.
Where it belongs
A family living room, a reading room, a hotel suite. The low back makes it one of the few sofas in the range that works placed away from a wall.
