Lavor pairs a solid wood top with a brass-finished metal base drawn in clean geometric lines. 240 × 105 cm — slightly narrower than most of our dining tables, which makes it the one that fits a room where 110 cm is too much.
105 cm wide, and why that matters
Five centimetres sounds like nothing until the chairs are pulled out. A dining table needs about 90 cm of clear floor behind each chair, so a narrower table buys back ten centimetres of walking room across the room — the difference between passing behind a seated guest and asking them to move. In a dining room under 3.3 metres wide, this is the table to look at first.
Brass against wood
The base is metal in a brass finish, set against a top with visible natural grain. It is a warm pairing rather than a cold one — brass and timber belong to the same family of colours, where chrome or black steel would cut against the wood. Brass also changes over the years: unless lacquered it darkens and softens. We will explain both options before the order.
How many it seats
240 × 105 cm seats eight comfortably — three a side, one at each end. The geometric base sits inboard, so nobody is straddling a leg and the end places are usable.
Materials and sizes
Dimensions listed above; made to order, with length, width and height adjustable. Wood species, finish and metal tone are specified per project. The Lavor coffee table and sideboard are drawn in the same language.
Where it belongs
A dining room, a boutique hotel, a fine-dining restaurant, an office dining space. The brass suits a room with warm materials in it — wood floors, wool, leather — rather than one built on steel and glass.
