West Marina Residence

An apartment at Deniz İstanbul, on the western marina side of the city. Sitdesign furnished the reception rooms, the dressing area and the master bedroom, designed in 3D and made in our own Istanbul workshop.

The client asked for a light scheme, so the whole apartment is built on off-white and pale grey with brushed brass holding the lines. In the salon a tall panelled chimney breast with a mirrored overmantel anchors one end, with a buttoned cream sofa and a pair of low armchairs drawn around it. A second seating group sits behind a slim marble-topped console, which lets the room be used two ways without moving furniture.

The media wall opposite is built as fitted joinery rather than a freestanding unit — lacquered panels, lit display niches and a recessed screen. The dressing area carries a lit mirror over a fluted vanity on herringbone oak, and the bedroom closes the scheme with a full-width upholstered headboard wall in warm taupe.
