Yeşilköy Ev Projesi

A top-floor apartment in Yeşilköy, near the Marmara shore. Sit Design furnished the living floor and the master bedroom, designed in 3D and made in our own Istanbul workshop.

The main room sits under a pitched roof, which decides everything else. Rather than fight the slope, the joinery follows it: a full-height media wall in dark timber steps down under the rafters, lit from within, with a quilted leather panel carrying the line on to the adjoining wall. The seating stays low and pale so the ceiling keeps its height — a long cream sofa on one side, two brown swivel chairs on the other, a timber-topped table between them.

The formal salon on the floor below is the opposite in mood: fluted panelling, a linear fireplace under a landscape screen, curved poufs around a low centre table and a faceted chandelier overhead. The bedroom closes the scheme quietly, with a full-width padded headboard wall in ivory and a low platform bed.
