A Signature Touchby SD Studio

Design Story

In the historic and scenic district of Üsküdar, Istanbul, a luxurious residential project has beenbrought to life with the creative vision of SD Studio. The project includes the entrance hall,living room, two children’s bedrooms, a hobby room, and the master bedroom—allthoughtfully designed by the studio. Every space was conceptualized with aesthetics andfunctionality in mind, and all furniture and accessories were custom-made in SD Studio’sworkshop using the finest quality materials.

Entrance Area

Entrance: A Soft and Elegant Welcome

As soon as you enter the home, you are welcomed by a serene and soft-lined design. A neutralcolor palette is balanced with deep green tones to add a subtle contrast. Lighting fixtures andaccessories are seamlessly integrated to create a harmonious visual flow.

Project Q&A.

Marble brings luxury and elegance, while wood adds natural warmth. Their combination creates a refined modern aesthetic.

Wooden panels were used to define separate areas both visually and functionally.

To create a serene and calming atmosphere, soft and pastel tones were intentionally selected.

Living Room

The living room radiates warmth and sophistication. A timeless combination of wood andmarble creates a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. Light-colored fabrics were chosen tocomplement the wooden elements, while curated accessories enhance the room’s designunity.

Hobby Room: A Personal Retreat

Tailored entirely to the homeowner’s preferences, the hobby room is designed for moments of joy and creativity. It features a large library, a cozy corner sofa, a reading nook, and a compact work area—offering a peaceful escape within the home.

Children’s Rooms: Vibrant & Functional

The children’s bedrooms reflect theircolorful world and are ergonomicallydesigned for comfort and practicality.Joyful, non-tiring color schemes wereselected to ensure a playful, inviting spacethat children can grow with.

The SD Studio Project Team

This project was led by interior architect Selin Dönmez, with production coordination by Ahmet Uçar, and design support from Merve Aydoğan and Deniz Alkan. All sofas and seating elements were handcrafted in SD Studio’s workshop. Accessories were specially selected and custom-produced to complement the ambiance of each space.
