Üsküdar Konut Projesi

A second apartment in Üsküdar, furnished across its reception rooms by Sit Design. Designed in 3D and made in our own Istanbul workshop.

The scheme is warmer and quieter than the flat below it: cream upholstery, oak floors and dark timber joinery used sparingly, as frames rather than as mass. In the main salon two tall shelving bays flank the windows and carry the room's only pattern, leaving the seating plain — a long cream sofa, a low glass and metal table, one dusty pink chair to break the neutrals.

A second living room takes the same materials in a cooler register. A grey sectional runs the length of the glazing under a branched chandelier, with a black steel shelving wall opposite holding books, objects and the television together in one grid.
