Etiler Ev Projesi

An apartment in Etiler. Sit Design furnished the living room, designed in 3D and made in our own Istanbul workshop.

The room is small enough that every piece has to earn its place, so the scheme is short: a tan leather sofa, one olive armchair, a pair of low nesting tables and a narrow bar console on a black metal frame, set against warm grey walls and a pale rug. The console does double duty — it serves the seating from behind and holds the room's only decorative moment, a run of glassware under a mirrored back.

The media wall opposite is fitted rather than freestanding: a lit display cabinet in dark glass beside a panelled surround with the screen recessed into it, so the television sits inside the joinery instead of on top of it.
