The channel-stitched backrest breaks the long horizontal into a calm, repeating rhythm, while loose bolster cushions soften the geometry without interrupting it. The taut, matte surfaces of the side platforms contrast with the fuller, softer volumes of the seat and back, and that tension between flat and full is what gives the piece its character.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNothing is applied for decoration.
